Songwriter Hall of Fame member Barry Manilow is one of only a very few artists who have been nominated for awards in all four major categories - Grammy, Emmy, Tony, and Academy. Manilow has won awards in all but the Academy Awards. The piano playing singer has been named the number one Adult Contemporary Artist of all time. To date the artist has released 41 albums around the world - 38 of which include Top 40 hits. Besides creating his own music, Manilow has produced albums for other artists like Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick among others. Every one of those albums were nominated for a Grammy Award. Twelve of Manilow's records have gone at least platinum (one million copies sold) and eight are gold. On September 28 Manilow will release 'Scores' an album that features songs from the hit musical 'Copacabana' and the yet to be released show 'Harmony'. "Getting to record the songs I love so dearly is truly an honour for me," said Manilow.

'Copacabana' was released as a song in 1978. It first became a made for TV movie starring Manilow and later it became a hit musical. 'Harmony' is based on a true story of a group of comedians during Nazi Germany. After a hard fought court battle over the rights to the show when the show was mismanaged, Manilow has his musical back and hopes to debut it on Broadway next year.

'Scores' follows the April release of '2 Nights Live' and a double CD and a DVD aptly named 'Ultimate Manilow' that were recorded live.

Manilow begins a tour on September 30 titled 'One Night Live, One Last Time'. Despite the title Manilow has made no mention of retiring from making music.
