Bjork's Oceana a Hit at 2004 Summer Olympics

One of the first famed musical pop artists to come out of the country of Iceland, Bjork has had a great honour bestowed upon her. Bjork was chosen to participate in the opening ceremonies for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Bjork performed "Oceana" - a song she wrote especially for the occasion. "Oceana" is written from the perspective of the ocean as it watches the human population grow and evolve over the centuries.

"Oceana" will be available as a download from Puretracks - www.puretracks.com -beginning Tuesday August 17. The song is also included in Bjork's new album "Medulla" which will be released August 31.
